Several more aircraft carrier have sunk, the Akgai Alone with the Yorktown.

The Battle is not only fought above the ocean, under the ocean Submarines are part of this battle too.Because of the loud amunation sound effects, the sonar can't hear it. The Japaneses I-168 has entered the war soon as the Yamato class retreat.A I-168 class is the Japanese most advance submarine. The ship can dive over 150 meters under water.The Ship also carry two Float planes which they can lunch out aircraft like a aircraft carrier. The I-168 class sneak all the way near the USN fleet and fire 6 torpedo.The first two sunken the Yorktown, the second one sunken a auxiliary firepower ship.
The USN can't leave that alone, The USN have a sub too. The submarine is called USS Tambor, The Uss Tambor is a attack class submarine, but it did not fire any torpedos. The Submarine only scouted the enemy, as soon as she is detected, She runs away.
After The Battle
The USN Have seen the devastating attack and named a Escort Carrier to USS midway.
Now she is a musiem in San Diego.The Yamato class was soon sunk at battle of Okinawa.
Both Submarine I-168 and USS Tambor survived the battle, both did a lethal damage
